Big Boy...
Brady has turned into such a big boy...seemingly overnight! He now refuses to sit back or recline in his stroller...he has to be sitting up tall so he can see EVERYTHING that's going on. He grabs onto the tray in front and holds himself up so he doesn't miss a thing...
Thanks to my aunt, he now also loves to drink water from a straw...

Pizza and Prizes...
I had the day off today so I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese (Brady's first trip there). There wasn't much for him to do - obviously - but he enjoyed all the lights, music, and kids running around. Dylan, of course, had a blast!
Eating pizza...

Dylan (begrudgingly) riding the Chuck E. car with Brady...

Too pooped to party...

Dylan's pile of tickets (417) after playing games...

Cashing in his tickets...

The pathetic amount of loot that 417 tickets buys...but at least we had fun!

Gators and Crocs...
Brady has been very sick for the past 5 days. It started last Sunday or Monday, and by Tues. night, he was in bad shape. He coughed, choked, and cried all night long. First thing Wed., I took him to the dr's and he was diagnosed with a sinus infection and an ear infection. He has been absolutely miserable...congested, coughing, crying, and feverish. After 4 days on antibiotics, he FINALLY started showing some improvement yesterday. Tired of being cooped up, my mom and I took Brady and Dylan to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine. It was a beautiful day (albeit a bit hot & humid), the scenery was gorgeous, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Here are a few pictures...
Not sure what species of bird this is...

One of the (many) crocs...

A white gator...

Not sure if this is a croc or gator, but it's big and ugly...

A pretty parrot...

Hotter Than H*#$!!!
What a draining week this has been! Our temps have been unseasonably hot for this time of year and it makes doing even the smallest task outside impossible. Even the pool isn't refreshing! Temps today are supposed to reach 100 degrees so I'll be pushing my a/c WAY down and staying inside!
My mom and aunt arrived June 2nd and are already contemplating moving back up north due to the heat. They have vowed to stay with us a year to see if they can hack it, and then they'll make their decision as to where they want to "put down roots." It's been an absolute blessing having them here! They are wonderful company for me (finally, some other females in the house!), and have been a HUGE help with chores, cooking, the kids, etc. I actually have to MAKE my aunt stop and sit down at night! She loves caring for people and has taken our entire family "under her wing." She won't let me lift a finger when I get home from work...and although I have to admit that I'm SOOOO lovin' it, I also want to make sure that I don't take advantage of her or my mom's generosity. They are both wonderful people and we are so lucky to have them here!
Here are a few photos from the past few weeks:
